Many individuals are shy. Don't be! E-mail or ask friends or coworkers to sponser you. You will be amazed at how glad they will be to do so. You may want to compose a letter or practice a verbal pitch. Uniformly, our patients are surprised at the warm welcome their request for support receives. Everyone's live has been touched by breast cancer so the appeal has universal meaning.

    Some of our patients have had bake sales or fashion shows also to raise funds.
    The best source of support remains friends, family and coworkers.
    Don't be shy.  Supporting this fund drive benefits everyone now or in the future as 10% of American women develop breast cancer and that means everyone's life is touched by the disease.
