Race Day can be overwhelming especially for the first time attendee. There will be 40,000-60,000 people in attendance. The key to having a great day is to come early and locate our group inside the Coliseum. We will be between Tunnels 18-20 with the S's. Look for Spirit of Santa Monica/Team Survivor. Closer to the race we will let you know exactly where to find us. After checking in and picking up your team momento, visit the Health Fair and then return for our team picture and then the walk.

Find Us on Race Day!
We will send a letter to all individuals who have registered with the team about 1 week before Race Day. You will have already receive a mailing from Race Central with the information on early T shirt pickup(a great idea to save time on Race Day), driving directions and parking as well as a timeline for the day.
You will need to arrive at the Coliseum by 6:30 A.M. to park easily and avoid traffic snarls and long waits. It is early but do come. Although parking is free at USC, there is less traffic if you take the Vermont Avenue exit from the 10 Freeway and head south to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left (east) onto Martin Luther King Blvd. and drive to the Coliseum. There are lots with paid parking readily available and you will miss the 110 Freeway traffic. Our team will be inside the Coliseum with the S teams between Tunnels 19-22. After you have signed in and picked up your team momento, you can visit the wonderful health fair and pick up lots of goodies as well as some healthy food. Rejoin us for the Team Photo which takes place about 7:30 A.M. If you are a runner, you will leave early to position yourself well on the start line and will go to do this just after the Team Photo. If you are walking, you may chose to watch the Opening Ceremony in person at 8:00 AM or stay with the team and watch on the screen inside the Coliseum. If you remain with us, we will try once again to stay together as a team for the walk.
After the walk/run as you re-enter the Coliseum, look up and to your right and you will see our banner in the Press Box. After receiving you medal, walk up the stairs to the first level and then take the elevator to Press Box 2. We have a grand view of the post-event celebration and a luncheon for all.
